Bill now uses that experience to coach and train on-air talent to exude more confidence and command on television. Clients such as NBC News, ABC News, Fox News Channel and NY1 use Mr. McGowan to improve the interviewing skills, live reporting and teleprompter reading among their developing talent. Network news programs also call upon him to revamp a show’s writing style, and train the staff on how to execute this new on-air voice on a consistent basis.

As a media coach, Bill trains corporate clients in advance of their media appearances and publicity tours. He imparts his knowledge of different shows and interviewers’ styles and tactics to advise clients on what to expect during specific appearances. This training is conducted either one-on-one or amidst a group of professionals facing common challenges. The goal is to share with the client the questions most likely to be asked and the most effective responses.

Clarity Media Group clients include several of the major book publishers, top-selling newsstand magazines, CEO’s, network news reporters and anchors, celebrities, athletes, doctors and lawyers.
