Rarely has a cocktail
party caused such a stir in primetime. But when Clarity Media
Group hosted one at the exclusive, four-star restaurant Per
Se, Stephen Colbert got bent out of shape that he wasn’t
invited and Bill O’Reilly was. In fact it bothered him
so much, he led his show one night by giving Bill McGowan an
ultimatum.
Although he thoroughly enjoyed
mingling and sampling Thomas Keller’s hors d’voueres,
Bill O’Reilly was not at all happy with what The
New York Times had to say about him attending Clarity
Media Group’s cocktail party at Per Se. And he took them
to task about it on his show, The O’Reilly Factor.
