Cecilia Ma Zecha is a communications specialist for Clarity Media Group based in Singapore. She applies her 20 years of professional experience from CNBC, Forbes and McKinsey to help her clients get ready for prime time. Companies engage Cecilia to help their executives build capabilities for presenting on stage, camera, or in front of clients, media, peers and potential recruits. Her clients are executives from management consulting, private equity, investment services, executive search, academic and corporate education institutions, aviation, hospitals, think tanks and philanthropic organizations.
Prior to Clarity, Cecilia was a news producer and anchor for CNBC in Hong Kong and Singapore. She was the host of flagship programs such as Asia Squawk Box, Managing Asia, Asia Working Woman and the Asian Wall Street Journal On-Air. She spent ten years at Forbes Asia where she was Executive Director and Head of Programming for Forbes CEO Conferences, and Forbes Forums on Asia’s Next Tycoons, Powerful Women, Best Companies and Heroes of Philanthropy. Cecilia was also the Head of External Relations for Southeast Asia and Head of Digital Communications Asia for McKinsey & Company as well as an editor of McKinsey Publishing.
Cecilia is a professional emcee and moderator at client events and business conferences. She is also chair of the Singapore chapter of The Executive Forum, a regional CEO peer network.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Cecilia is fluent in Cantonese. She studied in Vancouver B.C. from the age of 12 and attended the University of Western Ontario where she earned an Honors Bachelors of Arts in English Literature.
