Since 2012, Mariko Takahashi has been utlizing her creative vision and insight to manage the company and enhance its day-to-day and long-range operations. As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Clarity, Mariko is responsible for strategizing and overseeing all current and future global operations of the company.
Under Mariko’s leadership, Clarity has seen a business growth of more than 74% over the past 5 years. Since joining Clarity over a decade ago, Mariko has taken on many roles, giving her an acute understanding of the company’s business operations. She uses that knowledge to work alongside the entire Clarity team to ensure the company is optimizing its talent and maximizing productivity.
Mariko has led the Clarity team throughout many transitional periods, including the 2020 pandemic, where she helped pivot the company’s business model to 100% virtual. Mariko is also responsible for overhauling the company’s branding in 2017 and is the creative lead on all of Clarity’s most ambitious projects.
Additionally, Mariko has played a significant role in Clarity’s growth in the APAC region, managing the company operations there since 2018.
Originally from London, Ontario, Mariko has lived in Canada, The United States, Singapore, and Ireland. She has a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and concentration in English Literature from Boston University. Mariko attended BU on a full athletic scholarship where she was a member of the Track and Field team.
